Playing
How do I play?
- Play a card that matches the current element or the top card’s number. Wilds go on anything.
- Number cards attack the rival’s beast. Action cards stun, make them draw, heal or change the element.
- No card fits? Draw one. If it matches, you can play it straight away.
- Knock out all three of the rival’s beasts to win.

What is SNAP?
When you’re down to one card, tap SNAP! before the timer runs out or you’ll draw two. If your rival forgets, tap CATCH! to make them draw two instead.
How do I unlock new arenas?
Win three times in an arena to open the next one, or unlock it early with Shards in the Store. You can also try a locked arena once by watching an optional ad.
How do I earn Shards?
Every match pays Shards, and an optional ad on the results screen doubles them. Claim the daily gift (it grows over a 7-day streak), and watch up to five optional ads a day in the Store for free Shards. Spend them on beasts, casters, boosts, card sleeves and arenas.
Purchases
How do I restore Remove Ads or the Starter Pack?
Open the Store (pink STORE button on the home screen), go to the Shards tab, and tap Restore purchases at the bottom. Make sure you’re signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account you bought with.
I reinstalled the app and lost my Shards and beasts
Shards, beasts, boosts and progress are saved on your device only, so they’re removed when the app is deleted. One-time purchases (Remove Ads and the Starter Pack) can always be restored as above. If a Shard pack you paid for didn’t arrive, email us with your order or receipt number and we’ll help.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases are processed by Apple or Google, so refunds are requested through them:
- iPhone and iPad: reportaproblem.apple.com

Ads & privacy
How do I remove ads?
Buy Remove Ads once in the Store to turn off banner and between-match ads for good. Optional reward ads (like doubling your Shards or reviving a beast) stay available if you want them.
How do I change my ad privacy choices?
Open Settings (gear icon on the home screen) and tap Ad privacy choices (shown where it applies, e.g. the EEA and UK). On iOS you can also change tracking in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
How do I delete my data?
Spellbloom has no accounts and we don’t store your data on our servers. Uninstalling the app deletes everything it saved. For advertising data held by Google, see our Spellbloom Privacy Policy.
