A small studio with a warm vibe.
We're a tiny indie team making games and apps that feel good to spend time with. We started with one whiteboard, one sloth illustration, and a stubborn belief that small studios can still make worlds worth living in.
Our story
Built between sunset and sunrise.
Sunset Bytes started with Robert Price and Lullue Shawck, a notebook of half-formed game ideas, and a preference for evening work sessions. We named the studio after the colour of the sky when our best ideas tend to show up. The sloth came shortly after — partly a mascot, mostly a reminder.
Today we run two product brands: Flirtique and AniGirl Idle RPG. Both share the same DNA: charming characters, considered design, and respect for the people on the other side of the screen.

What we believe
Four little principles, applied stubbornly.
We design for joy
A loved game outlives a viral one. We measure success in smiles per session, not just installs.
We work at sloth pace
Not slow — considered. Long enough to think clearly, short enough to keep shipping.
The detail is the thing
A good easing curve, a kind onboarding line, the right shade of orange. It all adds up.
Independence over hype
We're indie owned and plan to stay that way. Players come first, trends come last.
The founders
Two people, one studio.
Sunset Bytes is led by its two founders — every pixel, line of code, and design choice passes through their hands.
